RVA Remembers 2011

I’m starting to see it.

The ribbon, that is. For more than a year I’ve been dreaming about it…but I was never quite certain how on earth we were going to actually construct it.

But that worry’s now gone—thanks to the generosity (and expertise) of Tracy Ruff of Kine Vue, LLC. Yesterday, Tracy sent me a layout of the site showing exact measurements and the precise placement of each of our 400 participants and their umbrellas. It’s awesome.

And, let me tell you, this AIDS memorial ribbon is going to be big—nearly 200 feet long, nearly 100 feet wide. Big. And beautiful.

I’m starting to see it.

And, I hope you’ll be there to see it with me on December 1st.
